Scott Lorenz Earns Assist in Season Opener Win
Scott Lorenz sent a crossing pass from the left wing toward the far post, where Herron one-timed a shot inside the left post and to the delight of 4,777 fans at Lockhart Stadium.
“I was just waiting for the moment, for one ball that I could put it in,” Herron said. “Scott made a great cross and I could sneak past the defender.”
