Rookie Husidic filling Fire holes
BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. — The Chicago Fire needed someone in the midfield, and that someone has turned out to be rookie Baggio Husidic.
In the absence of longtime holding midfielder Logan Pause due to Gold Cup play, and with starting defender Gonzalo Segares out of the same reason, the Fire found itself looking for players to fill spots and take up minutes. In the midfield, the Fire called upon Husidic, the rookie out of the University of Illinois-Chicago.
