Patrick Hopkins Signs 3 Year Contract with IK Sirius

Chicago Born Center Back Patrick Hopkins has signed on to Sirius for three seasons ahead.
“Patrick has, in our opinion, been one of the Superettan’s best central defenders this season,” says Thomas Lagerlof. “We also believe that he has a great potential to develop further, especially in the offensive game. He reads the game well, has an excellent main game and clear leadership.”
Patrick says he was unaware of Sirius until our successful cup games this spring. When he was a few months ago was approached, he began to learn more about the club.”When I looked at films and trainings, I saw a well-organized team with good spirit and a clear game idea,” says Patrick. “I like the football philosophy that Kim and Thomas stands for and how the club works to create a stable platform for long-term success.”
