McMahon and Aikenhead playing well in Australia

Wolves FC 3 (Clulow 2, McMahon) def University Of Queensland 0

Wolves: Radovanovic, Olisa, Jackson, Bowden, Mikula, Knowles, McMahon, Clulow, Aoci, Cearns, Janovsky, Aikenhead, Romano, Kromah, Benedek, Dickson.
University: Allen, Nitschke, Lamont, Benecke, Samuels, Shepherd, Mackenzie, O’Brien, Wilson, David, Veltjens, Morton, Watts, Bell, Sharov, Cook.

Wolves FC kept their 100% record in 2012 as they cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory over a battling University side at Carmichael Park on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

There’s no doubt Wolves were good value for this afternoon’s win with some fine performances all around the park. Aoci looked dangerous every time he got the ball and received plenty of support from the midfield with Clulow playing well and Alex Janovsky being a notable return to the side. Further down the track, they will find themselves under more defensive pressure and the signs are good with John Aikenhead creating a fine partnership with captain Paul Mikula in the centre of defence whilst McMahon was at the peak of his game and probably the best player on the park. Certainly, his positioning and swift distribution was unmatched all afternoon.
