Christian Silva Signs with Rochester
Christian Silva is a 25 year old midfielder originally from Tampa Bay, Florida. He played collegiately with the University of South Florida before traveling to Germany where spent some time playing with Hannover 96’s Reserve Team in the Bundesliga. Silva returned to the United States to play for the Ocala Stampede (PDL) and VSI Tampa Bay FC (USL PRO). In 2014, Christian went on trial with clubs in Germany & Poland before playing with Bridges FC. While playing in exhibition matches in for Bridges FC in Sweden, he was picked up by Karlstad BK of the Swedish 2nd Division for the remainder of the season.
“He is a very good, technically gifted player. He reads the game well and has good vision and passing accuracy. He usually plays in a deeper, holding position and does a nice job at distributing the ball,” Lilley said about Silva.
