Bridges FC Ties BK Frem 0 – 0

On Saturday, July 28, 2012, Bridges FC continued our European Tour with a draw against BK Frem.  This was our 7th match of the trip.  Play was even throughout the match.  BK Frem came out strong and aggressive, ready to play as their season begins in one week.  Bridges again stepped up to the task of defending as a team and frustrating the possession efforts of the opponent.  There were good chances on goal by both teams and Bridges Goalkeeper Chico Ramos made a diving one-handed save in the first half to keep things even.  There were opportunities to possess and create combinations through the middle for Bridges.  It was a competitive match for us and another step in the development of our players, especially in how to mentally focus and persevere through many tough matches in a short amount of days.

Assistant Coach Jeff Roy took the helm as Head Coach for the match as Head Coach Bret Hall headed to Sweden for the day for important meetings with Superettan Clubs.  We continue to build important and strategic relationships in Scandinavia as opportunities for our players to go for trials.

Bridges has 2 matches left.  On Monday, July 30, 2012, we play Lolland Falster Alliancen, a 2nd Division Team in Denmark at 7:00 pm Denmark Time.  On Tuesday, July 31, 2012, the final match is against Brøndby IF, a Superliga Team in Denmark at 6:00 pm Denmark Time.
